Ville Helenius is the Managing Director of Simbalite, a strategic change management company dedicated to assisting organisations in delivering end-to-end business transformation.

Ville holds an MEng in Electronic and Electronic Engineering from University College London, dual MBA degrees from London Business School and the Columbia Graduate School of Business. He is also a Member of the Institute of Directors (MIoD). Ville was awarded the MSc in Major Programme Management at Oxford University with Distinction, the pre-eminent qualification for executing large-scale change programmes. As part of his studies at Oxford, Ville developed a novel framework for improving major programme performance through making better choices between programme management methods.

Ville founded Simbalite in 2011 with the aim of providing clients with the guidance they need to navigate the complex world of strategic business transformation. Simbalite’s expertise spans the strategic change space, ranging from corporate strategy development to implementation of large business transformation programmes.

Ville has mobilised and delivered major global strategic and digital change programmes for executive management mandated to spearhead large scale transformation. He is an expert on large portfolio / programme execution (including using Agile / iterative methods) as well as initiative recovery. He has formulated corporate strategy approaches, analyses and recommendations to senior executives.

Ville has assisted a number of his clients with strategy, operating model definition and execution in relation to M&A activities as well as post-merger integration planning and delivery. He has scoped, mobilised and delivered strategic programmes requiring compliance with global regulatory frameworks.
